We are in search of the the bravest of garden warriors, ages 5 – 17. The most courageous get-your-hands-in-the-dirt-play-with-worms-mud stains – on – your – overalls – oh – look – there’s – a – frog! – type of gardeners. Spring of 2023 is right around the corner and we need to get planting! In Garden Club we will be starting seeds for the 2023 HG garden, we will learn about what we are planting and how it grows, gardening tips and methods, and more. Students will be able to take seedlings home if they would like to do so. As the months progress we will begin preparing the garden area, planting, maintaining, and finally – harvesting! If we are blessed with a good growing season and healthy harvest we will also have the opportunity to process and pack these veggies for everyone’s enjoyment in the winter season.
