Festival of Trees (6th Annual)

An event every day that begins at 5:00 PM, repeating until November 17, 2017
One event on November 18, 2017 at 9:00 AM

This 6th annual event will be full of beautifully decorated (mostly small) artificial Christmas trees. All are invited to Quality Gardens Inc on Rt 228W to come shop through the unique trees & either “buy now” or place a bid on your favorite. Highest bidders win the completely decorated tree.
Last year’s event saw some 600 people total, with nearly 60 trees. We aim to raise $20,000 this year.
Thursday, November 16th, 5-8PM: Opening Reception
After Wednesday, November 15th, tickets will be $30 at the door. Cash or check preferred.
Be the first to preview the trees & bid on your favorite! Tickets include one drink ticket for a KingView Mead beverage, heavy hors d’oeuvres from The Pines Tavern, entertainment from Curt Erickson, Jesse Sutton, & musicians from the Pittsburgh Philharmonic, & Photos from Storybook Studios Photography. Special visit from Santa.
Friday, November 17th, 5-8PM: Free & open to the public
Complimentary light fare from Tin Man Sweets & Grande Pizza. Entertainment from the First Presbyterian Church of Bakerstown Bell Choir & more.
Saturday, November 18th, 9AM-3PM: Free & open to the public
Complimentary light refreshments from Valencia Donut Company, Bloom Cafe, Smoothie King, Peachtree Bakery & Creamery. Enjoy entertainment from the Greater Cranberry Men’s Chorus, Sing Sing Sing, School of Rock Wexford, & more. Bring the whole family for photos with Santa (10Am-12PM, approximately).

During all three days of the event, attendees can choose a tag off the Giving Tree and make a corresponding donation. For example, guests can give a $20 donation to provide for a volunteer hammer, or a $200 donation to provide a new energy efficient window for a household in need, etc.. Hefren-Tillotson, Inc. has graciously agreed to match total donations from the Giving Tree up to $5000.
